Subject: 5 tactical terminators with CML or Stormtalon + Land Speeder Storm + Scouts?
Should I take 5 deep striking tactical terminators with a CML to play a pivotal role in my 2k SM army, or should I invest these points in getting a Flyer (Stormtalon w. Skyhammer ML) and a Land Speeder Storm with Cerberus Launcher and Heavy Flamer transporting 5 Scouts with boltpistols and cc-weapons?
I'd get more flexibility with a Flyer and a scoring unit, but the termies are quite resilient and can bring the pain with 10 S4 shots followed by 12 powerfist attacks and 3 power sword attacks on charge.

I personally would go with the termies, as I find scouts incredibly lacklustre, but on the other hand they do need proper support. If you have some other DS units, like podding marines/dread or ASM, then go for it, but if you leave them on their own, they will die. It really depends on the list. If you are already playing an aggressive list with lots of DS, then go termies, if you are light on AA or troops, go scouts.

What does the rest of your list look like? The terminators bring resiliant firepower. The scouts and flyer bring AA and a mobile scoring unit. Do you already have good options for downing flyers and grabbing objectives? Those are checkboxes that need to be ticked off before just adding more firepower. But if you feel that you have those bases covered, terminators can be fun.
