two completely different factions, yet so similar. I like the BT color scheme a little better, but DA fluff a little better.

Use the BT color scheme, forget about the fluff - after all at some time they stay in your glass cabinet.

I also like Dark Angels, but more because they are Plasma specialists and I really like the robed marines - but I could not stand the Deathwing color scheme (looks like dog crap to me).

If you like the Dark Angels fluff and the color scheme of the Black Templars, why not create a Dark Angels successor chapter that uses a similar color scheme to the BT?

If you want to use an already established chapter why not the Angels of Vengence or Consecrators?
