So next year im going to gd germany and will submit entries in a few categories.
Im trying to be optimistic but my main goal of course is a demon(first cut would be awesome and more realistic).

My main focus will be the vehicle category, a space wolves tank.

After getting rid of all the moldlines(double checking with pictures and light from different angles) and cleaning of all the mould release agent I just started building it and heres my first problem:

should i convert it or no conversions at all? add extra bits or not?

it will be a pre/mid heresy tank from forgeworld so the standard kit looks pretty awesome already.

i would love some feedback from all you guys(and girls), suggestions and what i should consider.

I like to see minor, well thought out mods vs. mods for the sake of mods. If they can help you tell the story of your mini, I say go for it.

Had a quick glance at your gallery and what really stands out for me is the quality of your weathering work.

I don't think you'll make the first cut by entering a nicely weathered, straight out of the box tank though. Try and think of a story for how damage could have been inflicted on the tank and use that as a basis for any mods you decide to make!

Don't just cut bits off for the sake of it: Come up with a complete theme for what you are doing.

I have a lot of things on my mind but im really worried that if i for example add to much to the base that my entry will actually be moved into another category like open, duel or diorama.

Afaik gd germany is really strict about the rules.

So right now im actually digging throu space wolves background, pictures, all the sw codices and rogue trader books.
Also all the battles they were involved pre/mid heresy.

Theres a lot of themes that come to my mind, but because bending/breaking the rules is a big nogo for me, its really hard(surprise) to implement this only in the paintjob.
