So .....fellow war gamers...what can I possibly use those miniatures for?

Dark Eldar wyches as an ally force? Might have to add some pistols or other weapon swaps.

The cauldron might be able to stand in for one of the demon chariots. You have a big ol' bucket of blood to appease khorne, and some hot chicks for slanesh...

I don't play either of those armies, so rules and base sizes etc. would need to be worked out.

There is no shame in picking up models just because they look cool and you want to paint them. I have a shelf full of stuff like that, and feel no remorse. Sometimes they get used for minis in RPGs, where it's nice to have some one-off unique things to represent the villein of the week.

I thought about that myself. Ultimatly i decided against it but those where my thoughts:

Make demon princes out of the statue(khorne?) and the naga(slaanesh? tzeentch?)
Use the elves as leaders for my slaanesh cultists.
Cut the rest of the kit up and use all the spikey bitz for kitting out my vehicles.
Use the main part of the model to build a platform on top of either a command rhino or maybe a defiler for my hq models to ride in style.

That would leave me with the wheel area and the staircase mostly unused. So a chaos themed terrain piece?


But like i said decided against it. Have too many DP already, the other DE kits have a better use as cultists, and i don't have that many vehicles to kit out.

I wonder if that big khain statue could be customized to be an actual avatar for khain. Making the wytches into cult member is actually a fantastic idea. My armies can always use a little more girl power. I suppose i should break down and buy the new demon codex
