If a unit arrives from reserve I understand that enemy units with the interceptor ability can fire at it at the END of the movement phase
So, would it be correct to infer that when a Drop Pod, Necron Scythe or outflanking transport comes on the table from reserve, and its personnel disembark, those transports could then be targeted and fired upon however, the disembarked passengers are NOT legitimate targets for the intercepting weapon? Because the embarked passengers were not the unit that made the Reserves entry role .
Thanks

Embarked passengers are still entering from reserve and therefore are valid targets. Otherwise drop pods would effectively be Interceptor breakingly good.

As above. The rules state you are also arriving from reserve, you just arrive together.

I think hear what you guys are saying. But please clarify: if a Drop Pod arrives from reserve, its passsengers disembark, and the at the end of the Movement phase it gets blown up from interceptor shots, you are not saying the transported squad is blown up etc. too -- correct?
Because the interceptor shots took place at the end of the phase per RAW after the passengers had disembarked. Or is there some rule that states you somehow rewind your disembark so the passengers are in fact hurt as well (?). Please enlighten me.
Appreciate your views.
Thanks

Correct indeed. If you blow up the Drop Pod via Interceptor, the passengers would be unharmed.

However you can, instead, shoot the passngers - as they ALSO arrived from reserve

I was thinking about this point. I guess the owning player would ideally try to disembark them to a spot that gives them cover or blocks line of sight and therefore keeps them from getting shot via Interceptor fire.

Which should work in your favor, the enemy disembarking away from your interceptors.

Think of it this way:
Drop pod is falling toward the battlefield, the unit with interceptor picks it up and starts firing and all the rounds miss, but as the arriving unit get closer the bullets get closer to the target. At the end of the movement phase all rounds from the interceptor are on target, but they might be missing by a few inches or bouncing off the hull.
