The Wildcats are beefy and they are Light Infantry.
The problem with the Raiden is that we do not know what they look like, not even a hinting of it. We just know it is from the Japanese Sectorial Army and that the Raiden are Specially Trained Troops with Limited Camo and heavy/special weapons.

It is not even necessarily an issue of the "style".

It is the fact that it was a "Limited Edition Model" advertised as a perk for preordering Campaign: Paradiso, that ended up actually being "If you preorder the book through your retailer, they can buy a model that you can buy from them!".

When is Gencon? Would definitely recommend taking your rulebook along if you get the chance, I got a really cool little drawing of Saladin in mine last year.

I also painted mine and am fairly happy with it, but she was not what I expected, TBH. She is in the vein of some other cheesy miniatures, though, like the Daktari, so I understand why people could not like her

Wasn't a problem at my FLGS, I ordered the bundle, didn't have to pay extra for anything.

Same. GoGo was completely free when I got my preorder. If that means my FLGS owner paid for everyones model, that just makes him and his store more awesome.

Corvus Belli's schedule can be likened to a calendar based upon which way a frog would jump if you poked it with a bear.

I'm kind of glad there's not much left for Haqqislam, since I can catch up on previous releases. The only thing I can think of that's not gap filling missing profiles for old units is a Sekban box, and as others have said, the way Carlos talked about them sounded like something they were planning, but not being worked on yet.

I very much doubt we would not see the Sekban before the end of the year.

I say this because they are clearly trying to get as many of the new units out as possible.

Oh I doubt doubt it'll be by the end of the year, but that's still 6 months of releases. Haqqislam have pretty much everything aside from scattered missing profiles in older units. I don't think there's an unrepresented unit at all.

The way Carlos was talking about them, it sounded like they were further out than we expected, so I'd put them closer to the end of the year. I don't mind the rest being gap filling for units I might not want, if it gives me a chance to go back and buy some older stuff I want and catch up on painting.

Angel said he's going on holidays, so that lot of minis he's been painting are probably for august releases, in addition to this month's Bootleg stuff.

They don't seem to be up to CB's usual standards.

Aside from maybe Scarface and the Nomad and Haqqislam pilots.

Now I'm here wishing that they kept the resources they have working on the main line.

It would be easy to convert the Cutter with the addition of the PanO pseudo-pilot. Not so with the O-Yoroi or the others. Sigh, I wish I could put the Maghariba Guard inside an actual Maghariba.

Is it just me or does the Lizard Pilot's face look a bit... strange? Is it just the angle?

Cutters are not piloted.

All of the current PanOceanian TAGs are Remote Presence.

That's why I called it a pseudo-pilot: because the theme for this time is pilots and TAGs, but she's not a pilot.

I mostly agree with Alpharius. I'm not as excited as I was initially; I think the Haqqislam pilot and Scarface are good... PanO one is growing on me (slowly)... The nomad does have a slightly odd face but I'm wondering if they tried to add some feline characteristics to her. Even though I'm not as thrilled with the line as when they announced it, I still have no issue with them doing the bootleg line even if it takes away from them working on the main line; variety is the spice of life.

Variety might be the spice of life but considering the number of profiles still needing to be released, there is plenty of variety to be had there.

I think its more the strain of the month than a lack in quality sculpting or painting.

most of the crew is or preparing for conventions and Angel is painting double time to get things ready for August.

Personally I really like them, though I would wish Lizzy pilot had more Lizzy with her.

Joe turned out amazing and that O-Yoroi pilot is sexy as hell. Mag Guard pilot is beautiful yet composed. Pan'O doesn't come close to the art for me.

The Lizard pilot however is a sad letdown for me as a Nomad player. I'm really hoping it's just the paint job, but that head just kills an otherwise sexy as hell model. She has the "Ya don't say" meme face and badly posed wind blown short hair.

Does bootleg have some sort of significance in the Infinity universe? I could easily see some confusion if you had one of these models, and someone (maybe not quite in the know) asks what they were, and you said. "Oh, they're bootlegs"
