Thanks Helbig, I'm not a great free hand painter, but when there are lots of shields together the mistakes don't seem to matter.

They are really good!
I'm liking how the colours all seem to be well done, and I'm loving their little spears.

Glad to see another historical painter. Your minis look lovely, especially for 15mm which can be a bug bear to paint well.

We need to see more historical stuff. If you are having trouble with the shields, look at little big men studios transfers. They are very affordable and good quality for 15mm roman and ancients minis.
|
1. Go to FLGS on a 40K game night.
2. Announce to no one in particular "I have over 10,000 points of Space Marines".
3. Sit back and watch as some 30-ish Neckbeard who still lives with his parents not only disputes your claim, but goes on to describe his 30,000 points of Blood Angels and how he has been playing since Rogue Trader days... And yet you will have never seen him either play 40K or that army.
4. From here, you have several options. Continue the conversation, or just end it. Either way, I guarantee you will waste 1+ hour of your life talking to this guy. Have fun!

And here are a few more units.
Balearic slingers, don't leave Rome without them.
The Archers.
The Thunderfire Cannon is a colossal, quad-barrelled artillery gun designed to excel in a static defence role for the Adeptus Astartes.
Close up of the techmarine.
Numidian Light Horse. North African complexion, mixed with animal hide shields and wooden spears forced these models into a thin range of brown shades, but they look ok in the flesh.
