Hey guys, havent posted much accept for the Imperial Guard pictures in my profile.

A few weeks ago i became infatuated with the idea of marble necrons. I scoured the internet for a painting technique to my liking until i came upon this site: http://www.abarothsworld.com/Tricks/painting%20tutorials.htm

These tutorials were great, and after finally buying an army i made up my first test paintjob:

Sorry for the crappy pictures but either way i think it came out well enough. Now im just trying to figure out what colors to paint the gun. On the same site it has a tutorial for painting green granite, which might be interesting but im not quite sure.

First off I think that Necron is very thankful, you're welcome polite Necron, you're welcome.
But seriously, I think it looks pretty awesome, green or blue might look pretty awesome with the current paint scheme.

I would say a really bright blue that's almost white would look good, sort of like possessed statue glow or the white walkers from Game of Thrones kind of blue or a Fremen blue from Dune.

Thanks for the comments guys. I tried doing the blue gun and also tried my first hand at Object Source lighting. It could use a little bit less and some more color differentiation but overall i'm happy. Ill try and perfect my technique, i still got 20 more to paint.

Heres the guy fully painted up

I'm liking it! Looks like he's shooting a gun made out of turqoise, with jade shot through it.
