As the title says I'm going to be playing Rouge Trader for the first time and I want to be a good player (Not in regards of power gaming but knowing the rules and helping the game flow since my group consist of upwards of 9 PCs)
I've been doing some searching of various forums (Dakka, giantsintheplayground /tg/) and hoping for some advice for the system, how it plays, and some general info.
Also my RPG experience has been mainly D&D (3.5/4) and a couple of random D20 games, I've only had one session played with a d10 system a long time ago, so any info on the system differ would be awesome.

Thanks!

I think we're more familiar around these parts with Rogue Trader.

Also, I am being annoying for no reason, and feel bad about this.

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.
Play the games that make you happy.

9 PC's mightn't be too terrible for RT, as it means you'll have every role on the ship filled and can use a bunch of the alternate ranks from the supplements without compromising the workings of the ship.

Are you acting as the GM or as a player?

I'm just getting into dark heresy myself and I've found the folks there are very helpful. Well good luck on your travels.
