Ok, 3 things before we go into this; 1)I like music 2) I like silliness and 3) Bright colours are great.

With that in depth grimoire of knowledge, here's my suggestion for a buncha conversions/alternate paintschemes.
Noise marine army, but with a twist. 3 small 5 man squads made to look all H4rdc0R3 wubstep (pale faces, black'n'bright colours) a Predator but instead of lascannons, Dubstep guns (need help in how i would actually make those)

The last buncha noise marines would be decked out in purple and glitter, and have a REALLY heavy disco theme (champ would be a guy with a microphone (made with painted matchstick?) and the icon would be a stick with a diso ball on it)

Finally the bikers (vroom vroom vroom, in the words of John Lee Hooker) would be all harcore rockers, like those chaps from the 70s.

Give me your suggestions, you wonderful people!

Disco marines? Earth wind and fire!
Bikers? DOOMRIDER/Rockers!

Bad luck?! Schmad luck!

Not entirely sure how dubstep equates to pale faces with black and bright colours.... odd logic you have there.
Its a music genre, a subcategory of EDM. Has a wide fanbase from many different sterotypes. The dubstep events that happen draw massively diverse multicultural crowds from all different social stereo type groups. Much like most of the ravey party scene.
Thus it doesnt really have 'a look' as such.... try it; go to some dubstep events at big nightclubs with big name acts, look around and see who went to them you might be suprised.

I was more thinking about how the album art comes into play, with most of the armour black and highlights/lines (tron style) of bright blue, green or orange. You're right, I'm not really going for realistic dubstep likers but more how it's shown through album art and all that jazz. And pale face because I've decided to modify the 3 champs on each small unit to be deadmau5, skrillex (hence pale face) and a mohawk guy.

But is the general idea sound?

Lol, your models do what makes you happy with em.
Rule of cool if they look cool then its all good

Deadmau5 is not a dubstep producer though he does house afaik.
I can imagine that Excisions album art and promo posters are the style your after. But there is no general theme across the board for dubstep album covers, or vinyl sleeves tbh... everyone does it differently, uses different colours, themes and styles.

I wouldnt go around saying that youve got dubstep marines ora anything, becasue someone who is actually into dubstep, and has been since the beginning of it (like me) will call you out on that crap), Dubsteps been going since early 2000's, skrillex is a very late comer to the scene, the pioneers for it were skream, benga, artwork, El-B, horsepower productions, DMZ, caspa & Rusko etc etc...

Lables to consider looking at art work for might be Dubpolice, Tempa, Audio Phreaks, Argon, Bar9, Hollow poiont, etc etc etc.. theres countless labels that publish dubstep music and theyre all a bit different in style of art and sounds.

Fully aware that dubstep is a very wide genre, but I'm doing the same thing with it that I'm doing with rocknrol, and disco, using the general ideas and style to make something that could be recognisable. Besides, I'm taking my inspiration from simply googling glitchstep(personal fave)/those noise marines from DoW. Though I will definetly look into those up oducers when my internet is less teribad.
On an aside note, how would I make a predator's lascannons look as though they shoot noise and not lasers?
