I've backed three Indigog projects and haven't had any problems yet. Yes, they charge your credit card immediately, but that just means you have to be conservative in your choice. Only real problems I have heard are on the project end. Committed money to the Skullgirls video game project and they got screwed over by indiegogo and paypal after a number of people pulled their pledges. There was a poll for an additional character in the game. A number of people got butthurt when their character didn't win the poll and they pulled their pledge. Paypal as a result refused to grant the project access to the funds.

Given a number of people I know are friends with Jeremy Bonamant, I'll probably back this one.

I love your work, although so far the price has kept me from diving in. Will definitely check out the campaign page when it goes live

Man, I remember initiating Allan to the wonder that is poutine. That kid could eat! Cyril and JBT were also very nice dudes. Had I gainful employment at the time, I would definitely throw money their way to help out.

Poor guy!

Also a big fan of the work. Will be checking this out. I've back 2 indiegogos, one being the Kensei project. I haven't received anything yet from either but I'm not in any rush yet.

Hi everyone!

Here are the news on everyone participating in FIGONE:

- 10 new references complete the catalog of the beautiful SMOG line.
The complete catalog can be seen by clicking on this link. www.figone.fr

- The earth-shattering arrival of the new line, GALAPAGOS MINIATURE, with two jaw dropping busts!
Hurry, there won't be enough for everyone!
The “Messenger” and “Kazhatdram” are visible by clicking on this link. www.figone.fr

No doubt that with such great work, we'll see Ju-Won Jung again soon!

- The Indiegogo campaign to finance "ROCCO, - the most massive, mounted orc in 54mm ever realized" is a huge hit! The objective was reached in just one night and the two stretch in less than 4 days!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all of the contributors.
From now, ALL THE CONTRIBUTORS WILL ALSO GET HELMUT AND CARMINA FREE OF CHARGE.

Very good for 75 euros including Rocco, isn’t it ?

Helmutt (sculpted by Stephane Camosseto)

Carmina (sculpted by Christian Hardy)

We looking forward proposing new stretch goals as the success is unexpectedly high!
Stay with us !

Many people in private or on forums have been asking for photos of the figurine. Since the goal has been reached, Allan has put pedal to the metal and we are sending you the first photos of the WIP (Work In Progress), directly from his studio.

The jump from the first WIP to the second is pretty startling in a good way.

Another update

A couple of news pictures today. We've reached the last proposed stretch and runnin' out of ideas for the moment... but who can say what we may ask to Santa...

now back to me writing again, personally I've thrown out a couple of suggestions in the comments

Rocco on foot (28 or 54mm), or a 28mm version of mounted Rocco

(both would be expensive and depend on Alan Carrasco being both interested and free to take on the work, but who knows, maybe?)

I was also thinking a more detailed base to put the model on (something round with rubble and plants)

Hello miniature-eaters!

Things are moving on fast on our side!

We've barely had time to put stuff online that a stretch goal was unlocked, followed by the second, then the third!

In addition to the models of Helmut and Carmina, a free banner will be added to the package that all of the campaign's backers will get.
Rocco – the most massive mounted orc in 54mm ever

In order to be sure to satisfy everyone (sculpting and casting a model takes time), and to avoid the usual effects which happen whenever we announce something, we'll wait a few days to announce the next bonuses of the campaign.
It'll be Christmas before its time!

Here's a recap of what we have so far, and there's a good chance it'll increase some more!

Here are the last few WIP shots from Allan's workshop.

The link to the campaign by clicking here.

In parallel history buffs will be able to appreciate in the Figone store the addition of Lallah Fadhma N'soumer, the 19th century Algerian Kabyle revolutionary, a figurehead in the struggle against the French conquest of the 1850s.

Scale 75 is working on a set of gorgeous busts, starting with Laurel and Hardy, as well as two sets of paints b(Blakck & white + Sky &ice), one of which will be very useful to paint these busts.

You're faster than I )))

Thanks to you all the Indiegogo campaign is a roaring success. We needed your help and you responded beyond our wildest hopes. So, to thank you (and because Christmas is coming) in addition to the first three unlocked stretch goals we are adding an extra present - Tahar'Ama !

So that’s not three but four free figures for anyone ordering Rocco on Indiegogo (for contributions perk 2 and above).
Tahar'Ama will be sculpted by Christian Hardy in 32mm scale.

All this for only 75 euros, it’s a no-brainer. There are just three days left to profit from this offer so please help spread the word.

Here’s a fluff description for the piece written by Yannick Degiovanni to mark the occasion:

On the crest of the escarpment the reptilian sentinel dozed under the pale sun.
Rocco the great varanus captured the scattered thoughts of his rider like he was fishing for flies with his tongue. As Rocco was the last dragon of this world so Rollo was the last dragon rider. Rocco did not complain. He could sum up his rider in one simple sentence: a humble spirit in a healthy body. Easy to influence, effortless to lead; a natural sponge, which Rocco could fill up and squeeze out at his leisure.
Rocco sighed, and cast a languid glance at the valley beneath him then looked to the far off snowy peaks. He felt Rollo stiff as a poker in the saddle, ready, attentive; another sigh escaped, this time accompanied by a small smile which revealed the tip of his forked tongue.
All things considered, Rocco was in a good place. Things could have turned out worse.

Later,
Jérémie
