Hey DD, is the razorback kit just a rhino sprue with the extra turret variants included?

Pretty much, yeah. Some other bits thrown in.

Same with the Vindicator and Predator kits.

Ok cool thank you. I'm thinking of, if possible, buying a rhino for cheap then going online and ordering the parts necessary for the other variants and magnetizing the lot of it. Cheers.

Here is a tutorial I did for how I made my rhinos so I can convert all of them to the different versions of the tank.

Will give you an idea at least of what you can do, I went overboard on it, but I wanted everything to be operable on each tank, hence the use of a lot of magnets.

I would also just find a cheap Predator or Vindicator to buy and then get the other kits weapons on eBay. Seems on eBay they sell the sprues for the weapons a bit overpriced at times for the Predator and also the Vindicator as well.

I strongly advise you look at the costs and comparing them to just buying a Razorback. A lot of bits sellers sell turrets & sponsons for a huge premium. Much more than the few bucks difference in price of the kits.

@Darkknights thank you for the tutorial that's awesome!
@Breotan thanks for the heads up i'll be sure to do some serious price comparisons in the future, cheers!

If the ebay price for the specific razorback parts is not to your liking there are a few 3rd party manufacturers that do razorback bits that might eb a bit cheaper. Puppetswar is one of them with a variety of pretty cool looking razorback equivalents for all weapons options.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

I was just looking on eBay and seen a razorback kit starting out at 99 cents. So the deals are there, just have to look for them. Thanks for the compliment on my tutorial as well. I need to take some pictures of my Land Raiders and other kits I've worked on so far, and make another tutorial.

Thanks for the input everybody. A razorback kit at 99 cents you say? The price is definitely right! I love shopping for bits on ebay and have gotten quite a few good deals there. However, working and going to school full time usually means I get outbid on the really good deals, but that's just the nature of the beast. Cheers DD

If you wanted to use a 3rd party manufacturer's Razorback turret the Rhino kit comes with the top piece the turret rests into. So you could just buy Rhinos.

As a person who buys and sells a lot on ebay, the STARTING prices for any auctions are not very useful ..at all.

Look at your options on the left, and sort by SOLD listings, to see what they END at.

(many items that start at 99c end at $20....but may others do end at a buck or two....so do not give up!!!!!.).

Best of luck and have fun!!!
