Food for thought. I wasn't aware it was so easy to get a video taken down from Youtube.
This company has probably blacklisted itself to a lot of people as well. After seeing antics like that, regardless of any other reviews a game got, I'd be wary buying a game from them

Its part of YouTube (read Google's) asinine system for protecting copyright; that system being someone asks and YouTube bends over and takes it up the butt. Usually it works just fine but then stuff like this happens and it happens quite often even on the networks Biscuit mentions that are supposed to be exempt.
Anyone with a brain knows what happened. The game was gak and the developer put a shut down notice on one of the most well known Game critics in the industry as if no one would notice.
The info on donations and green light is hilarious.
And yes. Nintendo's handling of Lets Plays is beyond stupid.
Yeah that's one of the few things I've butted heads with Nintendo over is that. LP's are pretty much free advertising. I couldn't count how many LP's I've watched that have been the tipping point in getting a game.

I follow TB on twitter so got all his tweets on the subject. They should have just dealt with him in private like he tried to do initially, rather than publicly stating that he had no right to monetize the video. That let him unleash in an amusing tirade. Gotta love TB for standing up against this sort of gak, he's done so on several occasions. Will put out PSAs on important topics in his usual well researched format.

The mind boggling part on Nintendo is that sometimes they let Let's Play go without a hitch, and others they come down with a hammer.
Looks like they're back peddling their old statements of "its a full game" to "its the first half of a two part episodic game". Next halves costing about $15 they've said, and GOG's offering a refund for anyone who got it before they changed it to the new statement.
