I'm going to the store later to pick up some supplies and I wanted to dabble in magnets. I have the new tactical box and I wanted to magnetize the combi weapon on the sargent. I wsnted to glue the bottum bolter in place and just magnetize the top half. Is this possible?

I also wanted to magnetize the special weapon in the squad at the wrist.

does anyone know what size magnets I need or the best kind to get?

Those are good prices @Deathklaat? Are the Ebay seller's magnets that low of quality? I have only done one order off of Ebay, but the magnets seemed excellent for the price.

Rare earth magnets in N50 or N52 grade. 3mm, 2mm or 1mm diameter discs. 3mm for marine shoulder sized joints, 2mm for a marine wrist, 1mm for smaller than that. With smaller sizes try to get higher grade (N52 maybe better?) magnets to make up for the lack of surface area.
