Hey All,
I was wondering if there was a resource that lists all units in 40k that have the Daemon Special rule. If not, would you kind folks care to share ones that you know about? Or eliminate Codexes that do not have it

[Edit]
Answer: The answer to this question can be found in the Grey Knights FAQ.

Q: What counts as a Daemon? (p21)
A: Everything in the Chaos Daemons codex (except for Chaos
Spawn), Daemon Princes, Possessed Chaos Space Marines,
Obliterators, summoned greater Daemons, summoned lesser
Daemons, any vehicle with the daemonic possesion upgrade,
Daemonhosts, Mandrakes, Kheradruakh the Decapitator, the
Avatar.

Credit to Happyjew and B0B MaRlEy for their input.

No, but the general questions forum has a sticky post saying that rules questions have been creeping in to the General Discussion forum, so I thought I'd put the post here.

Anyway, I know that Tyranids and Adeptus Sororitas don't have any Daemons, and I've done a quick flick through the Dark Eldar and Necron Codexes, they don't appear to be there either. So Mandrakes and C'tans are not.
I'll look at some of your other suggestions, thanks.

All those I cited are listed as "deamons" in the grey knight FAQ. Deamons with the Deamon USR? Seems like GW

The bolded looks like a fishing expedition that breaks the rule of this forum isn't a replacement for the BRB or codices.

Straight from the mouth of GW..er GK FAQ:

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Can anyone explain WHY Mandrakes are counted as a Daemon? They don't have the Daemon USR...so....is that fluff? In the RULES??

Fluff in the rules, the same with the plasma siphon FAQ...

Hmm, OK, if you can point me to that forum rule that would be good. There's nothing about "fishing expeditions" on the 3 sticky posts in this sub-forum. I had thought that a rules question in a on a rules sub-forum was legitimate.
But hey, turns out the answer was in the GK FAQ, that wasn't obvious, not sure I would have ever thought to look there, and that this thread can now be locked.
Thanks for bumping this thread for me
