Ok lets have a looksie:
Chaos lord: ok so you have a CC HQ. Why this? why not take a DP or Typhus? This list is hard to review because you provide no battle plan. In fact its nigh impossible, but I'll do what I can. The only way you would put this guy in combat is with the plaguebeaerers, but they are much more suited for holding objectives in the backfield. You dont want to deepstrike in your HQ by himself as well, because he will get taken out very easily. If you want to have an assaulty HQ and keep your army list id take a DP but thats too expensive for your list, so id ditch the term armor, grab the burning brand of skalathrax MoN and a powerfist and throw him in the rhino with some PMs. Good, cheap marine killing goodness. Dont take GoM, points are better used elsewhere, and dont take blight grenades b/c the PMs have em.
1st PM squad-good. shoot em up, guard objectives. Use rhino to disrupt LoS with people you dont want to shoot or get shot by
2nd PM squad-bad. you put short range meltas and CC power, the powerfist on a unit with no mobility. Take a rhino here, or better yet re purpose them for holding objectives or shooting. I think plasma or flamers is the way to go with PMs.
the two oblit squads in the land raider- this will attract great amounts of fire, BUT: if one obliterator dies, which he will, his brother will run like a little girl and get gunned down in the back. If you keep this, realize that they will die and do very little damage. You are paying for wounds. lots of wounds. Instead, why not have wounds and the ability to cause them? Take 5 termies instead or, back to the HQ, keep the CC goodness or take typhus and stick him in here with 4 termies. Thats a much more effective hammer unit, as they are fearless, can shoot up a squad and then assault them to finish them off. rinse and repeat.
GUO-More on him later.
10 PlagueBearers- good for holding backfield objectives, and in mass can glance any AV vehicle to death. with just 10, throw them on an objective and leave them there all game. you could also take typhus zombies if you take typhus or good old naked cultists. up to you.
Plague drones-know nothing about these either. Heard they kick ass though. Send em up with your land raider. use land raider to disrupt LoS to protect them from their most shooty units.
Overall it seems like you just picked the most durable units you could find and planned to foot slog them accross the field. I'm not really too impressed with this list.
It seems to me like you would enjoy a good old hammer and anvil army. Might I suggest:
typhus and 4 termies with MoN, power axes and combi-plasma in a land raider with dirge casters and extra armor- the hammer
2 squads of 7 Plague Marines with 2 plasma guns, a combi-plasma on the champion. Put in a rhino with a mounted combi-plasma- the anvil
10 Typhus zombies- for holding that backfield objective
2 squads of 2 Oblits with MoN- if you want to take em, use em as escorts for your hammer. Anything with chainfists or meltas that will walk up and pop your Land Raider, you zap with these guys. If they're still alive once the Land raider arrives, start killing stuff with AP2 that can kill your hammer force.
1491 points so far, id call this your core.
From here, it wouldnt hurt to have some more low cost units, like cultists, more of a midfield presence, like PMs, or more fire support, like havocs. Up to you.
If you really want to take a great unclean one, you're going to want to go for a tarpit strategy, which would entail lots of nurglings drones and other nasty things that you have to get into CC 2nd turn or so through deep striking or very very fast movement. You'd have to take out the land raider and its contents if you wanted to do this, and the strategy would be to lock up as many squads as you can in CC until turn 4 or 5 and then by then have such a fortified position midfield that your opponent cannot hope to assault.
So take your pick, hammer and anvil (basically CSM), or tarpit (basically daemons)?
