This has been inspired by two recent posts by different users who both had the same idea of including a chap master/mephy combo. Here's my (slightly different) take on the idea:
White Scars/Iron Hands (what do you think?)
Chapter master
Bike, aa, th, shield eternal.
2 x 5 man bike squad
2 grav, 1 combi grav
5 scouts
Snipers
Storm talon
Skyhammer
3 x thunderfire cannon
Mephiston
5 man assault squad
Flamer, combi flamer
Pod
10 man death company
Bolters
Pod
Furioso
Magna grapple, frag cannon, melta gun
Pod
Stormraven
Assault cannon, multimelta
Total: 2k
Bikes race forward to hit with grav turn 1. Death co and furioso drop to increase 1st turn pain. Thunderfire cannons placing 12 sniping blasts. Turn 2, Chapter master and mephy run rampant, death co assaults, furioso hunts tanks if still alive. Reinforcements if arriving will include a dual flamer unit on the drop and 2 flyers. Scouts just sit on backfield objective, any spec weapon casulaties or pinning they inflict is just a bonus. What do you think? Shouldn't have a problem with MCs and thinking the amout of threats turn 1 should worry opponents.
