Hey all! New to the hobby and so far only have the Dark Angel half of dark vengeance but I am already hooked! I have been working on creating a list for the possibly distant future so I have something to start working towards and was looking for some opinions on how strong it is.


It's a Mixed wing dark angels list with Vanilla allies.

First for my ~1450 points of Dark Angels

HQ:

Belial with sword and SB - 190

Troops:

5 man DW Termies with Assault Cannon and chainfist - 245

5 man DW Termies with Plasma Cannon and chainfist - 240

10 Man Tac Squad with Plasmagun and Plasma Cannon in a rhino - 205

Fast Attack:

RW Attack Squadron
6 Bikes with 2x meltagun
Attack Bike with MM
Landspeeder with Typhoon and heavy bolter - 311

RW Black Knights
6 bikes 2 Grenade launchers - 252



Space Marine Allies

HQ:

Mastery lvl 2 Librarian - 90

Troops:

5 man tac squad with MM in a razorback (with libby) - 135

Fast Attack:

Stormtalon with Skyhammer - 125

Heavy Support:

Stormraven with TL LC and TL MM - 200



Hoping that the space marine allies could expand maybe into their own army in the future! Would also hope to make them a homebrew chapter so i can use whatever tactics I feel like using with them But thinking Iron Hands for this list because of the high proportion of vehicles they bring.

Thoughts? Opinions? Suggestions?

first off I suggest combinging the DW into one 10 man unit to make better effect of belial. also suggest dropping the land speeder and taking a 5-10 man vet squad. points allowing in place of the bikes. (possibly in a rhino?) another thought is to stick a libby with them as well. I am a little bias tho, the only bikes that ever work well for me are the black knights.

also I suggest combat squading the Tac squad and popping the sgt + plasma gun into a razorback. possible with an AC on it. this way they can move to take objectives, while the cannon sits back and pops shots off.
