I had a question about this, along with the other orders in the Imperial Guard Codex and Forgeworld Books.
Orders that result in a unit shooting at another unit, like FRF, SRF, Bring It Down! and so forth; If a unit is given this order at the start of the shooting phase, shoots per that order, are they then allowed to make a normal shooting attack during that phase, or is the order essentially their shooting attack for that phase?

So if my officer tells 20 guys to do a first rank fire, and they make 40 shots at a unit, can they then make another 40 shots at that unit?

That way,then left

Once they've received their order, they get their normal shooting with the order's effect. They can only shoot "once"

Were does it say they are allowed to shoot twice in a shooting phase?
