Doing up a Farsight Enclave army and always wanted to do a halved or quartered army. Planning on doing a Saim-Hann army down the road so I was avoiding red as a primary colour for the moment. The colours are not meant to be any sort of camouflage.
Coming up with a custom symbol I'll be printing onto decal paper. The outline of the fluff is they're a mercenary army that work with some Eldar Corsairs and occasionally Rogue Traders. It's just so much easier to write a narrative for a game when one force is motivated by money/salvage instead of some ideology. I don't plan on the fluff being worked into the lists much as I don't plan on running them with allies (Eldar, human, or other).
These are test models I got from a friend for free so are sacrificial. The final models for my army are all going to have the old broadside flat feet, riptide heads, and shoulder armour like the commander model to put a nice sized decal on. All magnetized for all weapon options.
The goal is a quick table top quality army at 1500pts with options to bring it to 2000pts if need be. This wont be a showcase army by any means.
Currently looking at about 1 hour/suit when done in batches so something I can easily finish over the winter while going to school full time.
Basing will probably be sand painted flat brown and drybrushed with a little static grass. Want to keep it neutral so it can fit in on urban, badlands, desert, or grassland tables.
Group shot (hard to see the colours well):
Light ivory/light green:
Ochre/medium green:
Medium ivory/medium green:
Opinions? I think I like the light ivory and medium green (not a model I actually painted but a combination of first and other two). I find I learn more when I ask other people their opinion of my stuff instead of just going with my own isolated opinions so any input is welcome.
