So I was inspired after a buddy of mine did a samurai themed army for very cheap. I always wanted to do a civil war confederate army.

6 Witch Hunters brace of pistols and 1 with dispel scroll ( all will be different characters with southern backgrounds, models like Colonel Sanders, the violinist in the devil went down to Georgia and etc for humor )

6 units of 20 hand gunners with 1 marksmen repeaters

The Monitor and Merrimack as my 2 steam tanks

3 cannons

1 unit of 5 pistollers and 1 marksmen

I know the list isn't perfect, but I think it can do some good, if yall have any ideas on how to make a civil war themed army please let me know.

I am going for a more semi accurate army theme but if you could help me out a lil. I thought of captains in Hot-air balloons for Pegasus, I want to make a good list and also a semi real feel.

You'll want more diversity of units.
Add in a general and BSB, they still fit if you don't go all crazy on armor.
A small unit of archers could be modeled up as Indian Scouts (used by the north and south), and I'd take at least another unit of pistoliers, maybe some outriders as well.
Long Rifles would be nice, and a Gatling Gun as a hell blaster would be sweet.

I don't think the witch hunters can take scrolls.

A battle priest could be your chaplain ( all the units had them)

You HAVE to include an engineer with pigeon bombs, it's themed, and very decent game wise .

You could include some cavalry for your general or BSB to ride with.
