Battle Barge Impossible Fortress

Very cool. In an army with lots of miniatures, I am always pleased to see a player take pride in their stuff by taking the time to paint it.

Nice idea converting the kommandos. They're expensive!

I am proud of my Ork army. It is my favorite Warhammer 40'000 army. The masses of Orks present a daunting foe for the opposing forces. I like to run a Green Tide force. I have three, twenty Ork squads bringing up the front and twenty Lootas bringing up the back. I also have three kannons to blast away at incoming light vehicles or heavily armored troops. I now have twenty Burna boyz. I know that they can only be brought in fifteen man squads but I figure I could load two ten Ork Burna Boy squads up in stripped down Battlewagons and roll them up to the front line and bring the burnas in to torch any squad that gets in front of my boyz.

So many good elite choices to pick from. I have been using Kommandos a lot to get two burnas and a power klaw right in face of the opposing forces front line to dismantle heavy weapons teams or start tearing apart tank parking lots.

Nice figures need to be washed or dirtyed up some. Nice paint job. Keep it up.

224th Astra Legion (main army)
628th Praetorian Guard Cohort (wife's army)
827th Auxilia Cohort (ad mech fun)
825th Foderati Cohort (in the beginning army)
1212th Foederati Cohort - Jokaero (cause I like apes with guns)

Lol, Asbestos covered orks! I think maybe a little more detail on the gloves, a wash like the silverback said, then come back and re paint white over the spots not in the recesses. A lot of the glove detail is lost without the folds a slightly different color.

Still love it though, you should do another one in a full Silver Thermal Suit, or just try and do a bunch of work safety gear!
