So, here is a 4 man panzerschreck team painted according to the open fire painting tutorial on YouTube. So, what do you think?

Look very nice, you've achieved a good level of detail for 15mm (although the lighting makes gauging the colours difficult).
Have you thought about how you will base them yet?

Thanks, the detail was all thanks to an early christmas present, a cheap led magnifier for soldering.
I'm planing on going for the standard pva/sand combo, with some GW static grass and super glued clump foliage as stone walls.

It looks good, although there seems to be a little bit of the original base poking out there at the bottom? What are you using to base?

Looks really good.
One tip that was given to me when I started, and I've passed on to everyone else that I know...
Get a wash.
Once you have the base colors painted, use a big brush and paint the wash over everything on the model. It has just a bit of color (usually black and/or brown) and is very thin so that it sinks into the recesses on the model. It adds shading and subtly darkens the base colors. After a minute or so, remove any that has pooled on the model or base. Once it is dry (I say 2 hours, minimum), you can highlight with your base colors and go from there!

I painted another grenadier today using a black undercoat and lighter shades of the colours. It looks much more detailed, I'll get some pics on when I'm not about to fall asleep at my PC.
