Looking for some quick feedback on this list for a game tomorrow.....
HQ - Abaddon.
CSM Lord, Bbos, SoC, Bike, Blight, MoN, Lightning Claw.
Troops - Cultists x 10
Cultists x 10
CSM x 7, MoS, CCW, Power weapon on champ.
Plague Marines x 7, 2 x Plasma gun. Rhino with Dirge Caster.
Plague Marines x 5, 2 x Plasma Gun.
Fast Attack - Bikers x 3, Melta gun, MoN, Melta bombs and Power weapon on Champ.
Heldrake, Baleflamer.
Heavy - Land Raider, Dirge Caster, Combi-bolter.
Havocs x 7, 4 x Autocannon. Power weapon on Champ.
Vindicator, Deamonic posession, Combi-bolter, Dirge Caster.
Fortifications - ADL with Quad-gun.
Totals in at 1999.
I Plan to run Abby with the MoS marines in the Land raider up one flank with the PM Rhino in its shadow. Running the bikers up the opposite side awaiting support from the Heldrake. I know my opponent will have an ADL so, what ever side of his deployment zone he places it, will be the side the bikes/drake go up to toast his devastators that he will camp there. Foot-slogging the other PM's as I have no other Rhinos >.< I'm pretty sure that my opponent will be using a flyer and a new LR, Slightly concerned about the armour, considering dropping the smaller squad of PM for a second Havoc squad comprising of 2x Flakk and 2 x Las (It is 2k and we agreed on double FOC ).

He has really bad luck with his bikes so, I'm hoping that the Autocannons do well for me first turn, failing that, I have a pie-plate :S

well, as much as I hate helping people play vs DA, (especially chaos  ) Here is what I would (in my still fledgling experience of RW) would try to do, I would run up, 2nd or 1st turn, pop the rhino, then attempt to pop the LR as I run meltas on my RW, then bring up my command squads and black knights to finish the troops off that were inside. hopefully leaving at least one alive for no shooty shooty, any units I felt I didn't need to commit to them would go for the vindy and havocs. partly due to the fact that one the hell drake comes on I would have a total of one unit that it wont possibly kill out right (really though, those things are freaking nasty to 3+ ) would be a good game though. haha.

Thanks Brometheus  I'm still a bit new to writing lists for this edition, you know your stuff from what I've read.
What you said about popping the Rhino first, as I said, I want to run it in the shadow of the LR so he would need to through the LR first. I'm hoping that the LR carrying Abby and a CC unit will deter him from wanting to be anywhere near them for an assault. That's the plan, anyway

As a DA playre myself, tread lightly if your opponent brings any Deathwing Knights. They become strength 6, ap 3, strikes at initiative, and if he runs them in a landraider they eat marines alive. :p They can also power up to strength 10, so mind your landraider if they get near it. That is if he runs any.

I always bring a 5 man DWK with my DA Automatically Appended Next Post: if he does have DWK, be careful about getting lured into a charge with abbadon where he can counter charge. challenge first assault phase, the 4 DWK wipe out your CSM squad, then smite mode next to wipe out abbadon.

I think the vindicator is my favorite thing in this list. It can reliably hug cover, has a 50/50 to lose the main gun instead of Auto, and has possession. BS3 is no biggie, for always being able to move and shoot really.
As for lists in 6th Edition, I'm under the impression that balance is key. Your list is good for many opponents, not just DA.

I really like this list. If there is one thing I'd like to see changed, I would try to move some points around to give Abby's marine squad the Icon of Excess. Feel No Pain makes an already hardy model annoyingly hard to kill.
