Trying to make the best army out of what I have, I ended up with a list I'm happy with but has few troops and few models overall actually.

I'll try to give explanations of what I'm trying to do with each choice

Huron Blackheart
This guy seems good, good assault stats. Able to threaten tanks with armor bane. hamadra seems interesting and fun.
Real strng of him is his fixed warlord trait. Infiltrating in an aggresive army seems powerful.

Daemon Prince,
Wings
Power Armor
Aura of Dark Glory
Black Mace
Mark of Nurgle

Cookie cutter prince without psychic powers, able to rip through tanks and infantry and provides a great damage soaker for my army. Will be my main target for infiltrating.

2x Rhino's filled with groups of CSM /w (19 CSM, Huron will travel aswell)

Icon of Wrath
CCW's over boltguns
Mark of Khorne
Melta Bomb's on the Champion /w Huron

I've used these guys before, they do ok. Really critical to get them in fast, I always flat out everyturn unless I can get smoke out AND make it into cover next turn.
They mop up MEQ and >. Plan on getting linebreaker and desperately trying for first blood each mission. If these guys can clear out a troop choice of my opponent AND capture the objective they were holding I'll be happy.

5x Havoc's, 4x Assault cannons

Basic ranged, 48'' is a huge threat range. They come cheap for what they are and dish out some serious firepower on light vehicles, and can deal with medium vehicles aswell.

This comes to just under 1k, I'm going to try and fit a cultist squad just to hold a backline objective and stay out of LOS. Only have 25 points though, any suggestions on cutting things? Could just add 2 bodies to the havoc squad for survivability.

What I own and DONT have in the army for your consideration:

Raptors /w 2x Melta guns
Bits for Chaos Lords
Kharn

The Twilight Zone

Are you sure you don't mean autocannon on the havocs? I am pretty sure you mean autocannons with 4' range. And yes, autocannons on havocs are fantastic.

Havocs should consider VotLW, the leadership is nice for the small squad. Extra bodies are not a bad thing at all.

The deamon prince already has a 5++, so why bother with the aura of dark glory? If you want a better invul save, take mark of tzeenetch. Nurgle has excellent psychic powers and going at least 1 mastery level is pretty good. Expensive, but useful. If you go tzeenetch, you can go without powers(they are OK) or go level 2 and take 1 from another discipline. Re rolling 1's is great for a prince, being slow and purposeful...not so much.

Rhinos are usually going to give first blood, not much you can do about it unless you go first and your havocs/prince do something.

If you want to get cultists in, drop the rhinos and combine the squad into 1 big ass blob, infiltrate, rush and assault. Your on foot, sure, but the CSM have to stand outside the rhino one turn before charging anyways...just a thought.

5 man raptors with 2 melta guns and melta bombs on the champ are a nice little squad you can add in(with some other stuff here and there) to get to 1250

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.
