I am the furthest thing from an experienced hobbyist, but wow I am amazed at how complicated the landspeeder is. Putting it together is very reminiscent of waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the day when I painted model planes as a kid.
Tricky to magnetize, can't really preassemble too much if you want to airbrush it, and just a lot of parts for such a little thing.
I'm sure people who have built Baneblades are having a chuckle right now, but I thought I'd vent a little

Land speeder is variable; theres 2 kits.
The older one is a PITA tbh
Its got the sides and the top of the 'bonnet' (for lack of a better word) as once piece and really involved elastic bands, clamps and other holding devices to keep it in place while the glue sets.
The newer one is much more friendly and has the panels as seperate pieces.
To magnetise, its not too tricky, glue a cross bar of sprue across the hatches (on the inside! )on either side to mount the typhoon launchers / blank hatches.
And the front nose mount is easy enough.
The gunner can be done with 2mm magnet between his hands, although its a tight fit to drill the hole.

I did the gunner with a 3 mm magnet in the gun and steel wire bits glued to his hands/gun grips. I made my own typhoon launchers designed to clamp onto the flat panels behind the doors, so I didn't have to do the doors and could do some chapter icons there.

Heres a quick pic of how I did mine;
Excuse the poor painting (- Im slogging through re-painting this army right now, terminators first ), dust poor photography (- its the dead of night right now) ...also it being black is not helping us see the magnet work all that well :( hopefully its good enough for this purpose.
The side plates and typhoon launchers mount to a pieces of sprue glued across the insides of the speeders hull, where some greenstuff was used to set the depth of the magnets to be just right

Interesting, you seem to have a different version landspeeder than I do. The one I got has a big open space in the middle area with a jet engine looking thingy.
In any case, here's what I ended up doing for magnetizing.
I just plopped a magnet right on the little crossbar of the gunner's arms. You really can't see it when the gun is in place so I think I'm going to keep it simple.
Edit : damn. In hindsight I should have just drilled the gun holes twice as deep and placed the magnet internally so the magnet on the crossbar slips inside. Doh!
For the missile launchers, I put holes in the outer door and magnets directly in the launchers. I also cooked up some raised doodads (a big scroll and the Ultramarines seal in relief) for when the launchers aren't present. It looks kind of messy but all the marred surfaces are invisible when things are mounted. In hindisight, I'm not in love with this and would probably try to figure something else out next time.
For the nose guns, I did direct/angled magnets in both the mount and the guns. They meet up nice and flush.
Complicated little bugger.

Nah its the same on the inside, you just cant see it because of the piece of sprue I added that holds the magnet.
Both the 2 versions of the kit look the same once finished. Just build differently. Main difference its the top piece being the whole shell, or being made of individual panels. I've got three speeders, two of which came in Ravenwing battle forces, and are the older kit, the third being the more modern kit in its own box. (I've only got one nose mounted heavy flamer between the three, so I guess the new kit includes that piece, while the older does not)
