The Feral Host of the Undead – 2400 - Vampire Counts

Hey guys, This is my list that I run religiously now and I wanted everyone to see it to see if I'm missing something or can change something to help me out, New eyes and a new perspective and all that

2398/2400

The concept is that the main bunker is ghouls with king, necromancer and banshee, they are my hammer/anvil that slam into combat with the largest force there is, the double scream is quiet deadly as well as the force of ghouls and king. They are flanked by the crypt horrors that hammer as well as support. The zombies bunker the Master Necromancer who will help with 'D+D' for scream bonus as well as character sniping and reducing toughness (spells permitting). The engine stays central next to everything to add to regen to all units giving a better save and then will scream and charge when needed for impact hits. The dogs are chaff/mangler/fanatic/ warmachine hunters. The terrorghiest will scream its way into battle staying close enough to march away and benefit from 'D+D' spell combo. The hexiwraiths are insane, they will go face first into non magical units or steal through other units to weaken them.

The thoughts I have are should I make my LVL 4 Vampire lore instread of Death lore?

ANY criticisms at all will be welcome but I have done well with this list so far

Go lore of Vampire, you want that +6 to cast invocation. You want it bad.

Also I'd break the hexwraiths into 2 units of 5. They are a harassment unit, not a combat block.

If you're taking the tome, go vampire.
As for the hex wraiths, I've had a ton of success with the unit of 10.
11 S5 no save attacks, a rank bonus, and being ethereal really messes stuff up.

That said, you don't have enough chaff for the fighting hex wraiths. You need to have more drops than your opponents so you can control the match ups.

Definitely break the hex into 2X 5. Much better. Can also do some hurting on warmachines.

Seems legit though.

I also like lore of vampires, but thats your choice.
