No. There's a piece of fluff saying some Dark Mechanicus guys trying that and the gods of chaos got so infuriated they gave each of them five million spankings.

Do you want five million spankings?

Spoiler:
Just being facetious It's your model, do whatever you want.

I was gonna make a "Spider" baneblade, to complement my steampunk guard, it'll be a bit hard to do, but have at it! Would love to see some pictures of WIP

As long as it looks cool, go for it.

While they are singing "what a friend we have in the greater good", we are bringing the pain!

Sure, it's Chaos, it lends itself to craziness. And the Dark Mechanicus are certainly mad enough to make something like that.

Order of the Righteous Armour - 542 points so far.

It's your model, do what you want.

But remember, a model that size is going to occupy a huge amount of space compared to the standard one. It would create opportunities for cover that may not be fair to your opponent. Be advised someone might have a hissy fit.

Titans are supposed to project the power of humanity agaisnt the evil hordes of the impure xenos, hence they tend to be bipedal and roughly human shaped. However, seeing as Warhounds are definately not human shaped, even though they are bipedal, and there is scope to do whatever you want

If it helps, one of the old Eldar Knights was a quadruped (Bright Stallion?).

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

In Warp Transit to next battlefield location, Destination Unknown

I think that would be the ultimate conversion, IMHO! As for cover, that works both ways. Either side could sneak under the belly of the beast to get cover from it. Espeically an opposing force with alot of infiltrators/scouts. My only question is, unless it is coming from reserves, how does one deploy a model that size into a deployment zone? You better have a very large, (width/depth wise,) zone to put the model down in.

Cowards will be shot! Survivors will be shot again!
