Hi guys,

So, I'm beginning to build up my CSM army and Ive decided to go with a "custom" Chaos raptor lord, unsure of wargear as of yet but just for shear bad-assery I want to magnetize the model for when I choose to use the Black Mace, but here's the problem, I cannot find a bit/piece suitable for such a menacing, evil weapon.

Hopefully someone can help me out! Any help is very much appreciated!

The WHFB Chaos Knights kit has a nice mace I used on my lord.

A mace from the Dark Angels Deathwing Knights kit, with a bit of converting might work well. It has the 40k power source box as part of its handle. Just looks a bit too nice and imperial for chaos maybe?



... few spikes and chains here and there, and icon perhaps. and a suitable paint job could get this looking a bit more traitorish in no time without loosing the sci-fi feel by sticking a fantasy weapon in there.

The Deathwing Knight mace looks pretty awesome for a BM stand-in if I'm honest, looks like it's taken straight out the Word Bearers' armoury.

well I know this might not help, but I used the giant skull from the Arachnarok spider kit for my DP. gives him a voodoo-esque feel

There's actually a second mace in that box; one that's a little more menacing in my opinion. I don't have a pic, and I'm on my phone, so I'm not going to track one down. But it's there.

I actually have considered modifying saurons mace i have the model laying around somewhere....
