Hello all looking for some of your fine opinions on my work.
It's a work in progress atm looking to have a force to use in heresy matches and 40k.

Why would you have a yellow paint pot and/or other yellow models behind the yellow model you want us to comment on?

Looks pretty good (although I agree with the above comment that a more neutral background wouldn't go amiss). You seem to have a good depth on the yellow and the metallics are nicely highlighted. I'd suggest maybe toning down the silver a little more, but other than that it's pretty good.

This is just nitpicking, but before the heresy no marines wore the Aquila (2-headed eagle) apart from the Emperor's Children legion. You might get away with one or two here and there on elite units, and it's fine in 40k, but for HH-only stuff I'd suggest avoiding them if possible. As I say, this is just being pedantic, the model itself is great.

Looks prety good for on the table..

But I'd drill out the barrels...

Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the universe together.

Good point steel and para didn't think about the stuff in the background it's the second model iv ever posted here lol il remember for the future.

Thanks for the compliments yer I agree with the steel could do with another wash.

Wont be using this guy in the HH army or lysander lol but most marines from the HH will be caried over to 40k laziness and lack of funds mean both armies will be painted pre heresy

Looks decent enough, Definitely make a better light source for taking pictures, whether it's against a wall with natural light or in a box with a lamp and I think it will look a lot better.

The only major thing I can see that really needs doing is drill the barrels; as it stands it lets a rrally good paint job down.

Lovely work though all said and done.

I have given up on barrel drilling for now. I am quite possibly the worst barrel driller ever.

Well done it looks good.

Im not that bothered about the drilling of the barrels either, a lot of the time, they are wonky and it makes them look worse.

I love it. I still struggle with painting yellow, but you've done a really nice job here. One improvement could be more highlights on the ploom of his helmet? And I agree, drilling out the barrels would be a nice addition, but it still looks great otherwise.

I think the model looks great, but I think more layers on yellow to really bring it out.

Except drill them even. I have several I didn't mark right or mark at all before I drilled them out. Ruins the model.

I like the the work you did, looks fine.
