Poll
Can the speedy, shooty Eldar run circles around Typhus and his croanies or will the horde cover and consume all?
The Eldar will be able to shoot their way through and claim the board
Both lists will compete about evenly in an objective game
Typhus and his horde will cover the field, claiming victory, while the Heldrake consumes everything

It seems by that batrep that he is claiming more than 1 objective with the zombies ? If so, he is doing that wrong, he can only control 1,

Thanks! I like numbers, so it's nice to have and lets others know what we play if they want to try it.

I think a scoring unit can claim as many as they want based on the FAQ, even though the BRB says not:
http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m1490286a_Warhammer_40,000_Rulebook_FAQ_V1_1.pdf

Q: Can the same unit control several objectives, providing
it is large enough to be within 3" of each one of them ?
(p91)
A: Yes, absolutely, but we find this does not happen that often when enemies are around...

Either way, they only claimed one officially at the end.

You appear to be using an older edition FAQ or definitely an out of date one. Pg 91 is terrain. Pg 123 is about controlling objectives. Also the BRB FAQ is on v1.5_September_13.
