So for complicated reasons I won't get into, most of my IG army is currently inaccessible but I've come into the possession of a lot of IG bodies, so, naturally I'm going to be playing blob tactics for a while. All I have is one scout sentinel and a lot of soon-to-be corpses so how does this list look?

So what do you think?

I know the Penal Legion aren't really competitive, but if nothing else I think the blobs are going to be really slow and easy to bog down as each will have to go to ground at least once probably, so it will be nice to have some outflanking troops just to contest or hold an objective that's away from the action. Ideally, I'd like to give them a priest with an eviscerator, but it just wasn't in the points. Definitely would for a 1250 list. The heavy weapons will hang back and receive orders from the back CCS, while the front CCS gives orders to the frontline blobs. While the Scout Sentinel seems random and I know they work better in threes, I think it's worth it just to outflank and have a chance at firing an LC into the rear armor of any vehicles harassing my other troops.

Just for the entire list, specialize. Like with the CCS, if you shot a vehicle the flamer is going to go to waste and visa versa. And if the first CCS is going to hang back, why the Bolt Pistol and PW? Just my two cents.

Well some of the bolt pistols and power weapons were just filling up points. But also, just because I don't want my back CCS to be in combat doesn't mean they won't be and while they'll still get torn to pieces, I'd prefer them to be able to take down a few models as they get destroyed. As for the flamer with the front CCS, that's mostly for overwatch, and since they're slogging it on foot, I can't guarantee that they'll get within range of the vehicles I want them to kill so they may have to hit some other targets, at least along the way.

Basically, I just don't expect things to go as planned for these guys.
