Hello once again everyone. With a slight stiring of Fantasy in my FLGS (no thanks in part to the store owner who due to his poor judgment by banning both FW and the 40k Supplement books from 40k tournaments there we are now boycotting them until changed) there are a few more people dusting off their armies and returning to the game of Fantasy. Now I was partly interested in taking a Dark Elf army but soon realized that I missed playing with my last army, my beloved Wood Elves. With that being said I have decided to rebuild them and instead of buying a used army, creating my own following the fluff of the "Claws Kindred" which can be found here: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/560498.page. The game size that we probably will play most often will be around 2500pts. so I am intending to start building my list towards that then go from there. Now this is my first attempt at a Fantasy list in a long while so any and all thoughts and comments are more then welcome, thanks for posting guys!

-x8 "Dire Wolves" (*Dryads*)
*w/ Packleader (*Branch Nymph*)

RARE:

-Great Dire Wolf (*Treeman*)

-Great Dire Wolf (*Treeman*)

-Great Eagle

TOTAL ARMY: 2499 POINTS

Tactics:

-Spellweaver and BSB will bunker in one of the Glade Guard units (probably the x20 one) throwing out life magic and utilizing the "Hail of Doom Arrow" when most appropriate. The Alpha Great Dire Wolf, along with his larger brethren will be used as counter chargers or even to perform a "swinging gate" type of manuver against my opponent.

-x70 Glade Guard to pump shots downfield at my opponent, pretty self explanatory.

-x2 units of x8 Dire Wolves to be counter chargers to protect my archers and even potential re-directors.

-x1 Great Eagle for re-directing purposes and warmachine hunting.

19th Krieg Siege Army 7500pts.
40k/HH Night Lords 5000pts.
Orks Waaaghmacht Spearhead 2500pts.

I really like it. Short and Simple. The only thing that i would critique are the 10 mans. BUT that is just my personal opinion. I like 12 man units. lol stupid but thats it.

Boom

When your opponent starts to complain that your army is overpowered and you look down at your Beastmen army book and smile to yourself, your doing something right

The Lair of Vengeance....Poole.

DO NOT put your BSB in the flaming unit. The reasons are this.

Say you get really lucky, and kill whatever the unit is firing at. The BSB cannot shoot anything else.

Also, his magic weapon and arrows can't be flaming.

Put him in another unit, so he can fire where he needs to.

Malifaux masters owned: Guild(Sans McCabe), Outcasts(Sans Misaki), Arcanists(Sans Marcus)
