I am going to build another Prime sometime this month, and wanted to get input from the community on what I should build! I already have a Prime made from a Lictor body, and though I like it, it's not magnetized and I need another one. So!

Regardless of which body I use, I will be magnetizing it with all the options. I can use either a Ravener body (metal) or a Venomthrope body (resin), and will probably have some form of wound counters magnetized to the base (maybe Marine body parts?)

Thinking of using Warrior deathspitters and devourers, Ravener scything talons, Warrior or Genestealer rending claws, Venomthrope lash whips, and I could use input on what swords I should use, or maybe make. Photos will follow the project, Thanks!

OK, despite the results of the poll, turns out the boneswords are too large to use on the Ravener, so I went ahead and built the Venomthrope torso, preparing it for the boneswords.

I also modified one Tyrant bonesword, reversing the shoulder and changing the angle of the elbow, and of course had to flip the hand around with a grinder and some greenstuff. Tonight I will fit the arms and hopefully in the next few days I will get my hands on a set of small Mawloc scything talons. (Does anyone have any that I could buy?)

This Prime will be my CC Prime, attached to a couple of venomthropes, hence the body. Plus, this will allow him to use the dual boneswords and not worry about needing a lash whip - his buddies will help out with that.

Pictures to follow.

Completed construction of the mini. I think I'm going to have to run it with toxin sacs in-game... Let me know what you think of my work so far!

I think those Boneswords are enormous! Far too big for a Venomthrope body. You'd be better off converting the large Warrior Scything Talons or using the Finecast upgrade kit.The metal Ravenor Talons fit fine though, I like those.

I think it would be more recognizable with a warrior head. Right now, if I didn't know what it was supposed to be, I would think it was a really cool lictor. Still cool though.

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?

Thanks for the input! I agree the swords are too large, but I really dislike the warrior-sized resin ones.

I do have some Warrior heads about, though I don't know how I'd make that fit.

Long as 'cool' is the descriptor, I'm happy! Thanks!

Basecoated. Maybe I'll get some more done tonight.
