Hey guys! I was looking into making a noise marine gunline army, wrote the list and everything, can't wait to start it! And so i look at the GM website, scroll down to the Noise Marine sonic weapons pack and just about pooped, 5 Sonic guns and 1 Blastmaster for $25 or so, While i LOVE the look of the guns, it'll cost me about $300 to just arm my army with sonic weapons. I'm not complaining about prices or anything, but i was just wondering if there is a more cost effective way to make/buy proxy sonic weapons.
In short - Does anyone know of any nice 3rd party "Sonic Weapons" that look fairly similar(ish) to the vanilla ones for a fair price? Thanks!! ~Ashley

Not sure if they'll look the same as sonic weapons, but maybe with a bit of work they will.
Maxmini do some fantastic sci-fi guns, that should be the right size for Space Marines. Work in a bit of cabling with GS, and it could look more like a sonic weapon.

Try Spellcrow, came across these bits actually last week, they're mixed sonic weapons, you'll find them in the Conversion Bits section, under Pleasure Legions, there's loads of other cool bits there for other armies too.
Hope that helps, and good luck with your Noise Marines!

What i have seen used are those chaos gargoyles from the chaos vehicle accessory replacing the muzzles of regular bolters. Just add some cables and other bitz. Nothing too hard to do.
Alternatively spellcrow does have some sonic weaponry. (Like already mentioned earlier) Here are the links to them.

And you could try and convert up your own. But it will require some conversion skills (and a lot of time) depending on how detailed you want them to be.
Those are a few wip shot of the ones i created:

I'm having the same problem although I'm only playing a 500pt army.
Those spellcrow guns, I've never seen them before and now I want them
I was thinking of trying to convert some plasma cannons and things but being a noob to modelling, a little apprehensive.
The forge world emperor's children kakophoni look amazing though and some of the volukite weapons look convertable but expensive

Converting Plasma cannons sounds like a good idea, i could just add gargoyle heads on the ends and green stuff piping like btldoomhammer said! I wonder what could proxy a Blast Master fairly well though

I've seen some grey knight psycannon and psylencer used for sonic weapons before. Those might be a good base for blast masters. You could just simply do the same and attach different gargoyle heads to them. But one problem with them is that those weapons have a bit of a pricetag in bitz shops. Especially if you want the power armor variant and not the terminator ones.
