I'm used to pivoting my wave serpent before Imove during my movement phase. Do I get to pivot during a flat out as well or does the vehicle maintain the same orientation that it ended its' movement phase with?

Flat-Out follows all the normal rules for movement, including being able to pivot at any point during the movement.

No.

You can ony pivot at the end of your movement IF you did not pivot at the start of, or during, your movement.

Purchasing vectored engines however allows you to pivot after your shooting even if you pivoted before.

Citation required - where is there a restriction on when you can pivot?

Yeah these rules don't exist anywhere in the 6th ed rulebook.

true, I take that back.

You can pivot, move, pivot during moving as often as you wish, and pivot once more after ending your movement.

But in what direction your facing ended at the end of the movement phase is where your hull mounted weapons will be shooting at, in your shooting phase.

And it will also determine what facing of your tank will be in LoS of the enemy's AT guns, UNLESS you buy vectored engines, in which case you can pivot once more after shooting.

And Flat out happens in the shooting phase, where you can again treat it like the movement phase and turn all throughout, before, and after moving and end up facing any direction you want.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.

Vehicles can turn any number of times as they move...

...immediately moving up to 6"...

Pages 71 and 72. No mention of movement phase, so this would seem to apply to any movement a vehicle might make.
