I recently got a Baal predator, and wanted to try it out, but my BA army is a bit small. I decided to try it out with my guard for my usual casual game Thursday.

My plan was to have my guards sit tight for a turn or two while popping any vehicles. Then my DC and Pred come in striking at any infantry while my Guard advance (if there are any left). I wasn't sure if I wanted the Librarian with my guard or DC though.

Thoughts?

maybe, find the points for a Storm raven for the DC? (drop the pred maybe?)

Also, I wanted to try out my new Baal predator, but perhaps I should switch out my DC for assault marines, and another IG tank?

still you can proxy a vandetta as a storm raven till you get one besides, vandettas look so mych better...

Alright, I tinkered with it. Threw in a vendetta (I proxy stuff, but something like that is a little to far for me), took out Lemartes, and put the vets in the flyer. Also gave the CCS a ML so it can do something besides give orders.

I think I have a nice balance of defensive and offensive units.

I recommend keeping lemartes or a chappy in the DC squad, he increases their damage by.. alot.
