1 = Non-competitive play, gaks and giggles
10 = Tournament winning, game breaking
Please NO SUGGESTIONS. Feel free to rate, review and give your opinion. But the list won't be changed

I'm not suggesting change anything or am telling you what is what I am asking a question Why did you chose this list over using the librarian or the bikes which imo are the strongest units in the box?

plasma cannons have always given me more bang for buck than ACs. I suggest 2/2 with AC/PC. also, why use the Inter. chappy? if its for fine thats fine, but if you wanna "win" libbys are much better. also, list like this, consider Azreal.

I've seen so many of these and I'd usually post my response but I never do because you don't want constructive criticism....I'd rate this as a 2.

The note at the bottom explains why i built it this way. I simply wanted a list to use my DV stuff specially the interrogator chaplains which I never run in favor of librarians.
This is the biggest reason usualy why i have these 'themed' lists, it's a break from the TAC/ WAAC style of list building. Yes I have better lists, but I own a lot of stuff (look at my signature) so there's things that just sit there and never hits the table. So for those things I build themed lists where I get to field them, even if I get pwned it's fun to just play the odd lists every once in a while and let those underused models get some air.
For comparison this is what I run as my TAC DA list.

This was my list prior to chaos daemons release. Back when it was just CSM and DA duking it out. Prescience on libbys joined to the devastators is awesome, with night vision i snipe out units even when there's night fight and i added the power fields after losing repeatedly to 3 heldrake spam
Though I'd like to point out that this is a variation of what i was running before. I didn't use the terminators (they just arent that good) i had 3 riflemen dreads and more marines. I destroyed a lot of armies with my only big defeats coming at the hands of 3 heldrake spam, and even then I did fairly well against them almost winning one time (i quit too early forgot i had a rifleman dread still alive at end of turn 5) we rolled it out just to see what would've happened if i hadn't forgot him, and bam I destroyed the last heldrake to hypothetically win the game. (scouring)
Any how i'm sure that it's obvious that my TAC list is far superior to the 'themed' built, which is why i stress that i'm not aiming to change or improve on it. I can improve it on it on my own. I want some ideas on how i can make it work or what i should watch out for strategic tips are very welcomed.
I hope this answers your question.

It would be nice if they were all in one post as they all are very similar. No transport, lots of standard troops which is why people constantly give similar ratings.

Would be a super long post and hard to know what advice is for what. I've actually gotten some good advice thats not always the same.
If you want to comment on my 'competitive' play then have a look at the chaos daemons list i posted. In that one i'm actually aiming to destroy things while playin to a khorne theme.
And in my Grey Knights list I actually am interested in suggestions albeit limited to my inventory as im not buying more GK stuff but i do think that i built it pretty well to put the hurt on tau/eldar and other top targets.
Any who, back on topic now please.
I'm well aware that this is a 'weak' DA list so the question is...how do i make this work? Strategic advice anyone?

I get you are trying to deviate from the internet lists and still throw together something competitive but why so little love for transports (this is for all your list not just this one)
Why 3 HQ choices (double FoC) ? Also do you put them with the deathwing or tac squads? Automatically Appended Next Post: Strat for this list is simple sit back and let them come to you try and position your self for counter charges, feed them a combat squad or two and then hit them with a termy rush. Problems will be in objective games where you lack the mobility to get on objectives.

I try to build at least 1 footslog list for each army i own.
These footslog lists tend to be the 'weaker' version of what i play and what i would have the hardest time winning with, thus I ask for advice on these transport less footslog list.
I dont need help on the stuff i'm confident in, it's the lists that I know are crappy and 'underdog' theme that i'm interested in getting others opinons and tactical advice on.
It's not that i hate transports, i simply use them with my better lists. Look at the eldar list i posted I use my serpents in it. But in general these are the lists I could use analysis on.
And yeah I play double FOC pretty often, I'm not one of those people that shuns the rules. If its' legal in the rulebook then it's fair game in my opinion.
And i do intend to put the chaplains with the deathwing UNLESS it is more beneficial to DS them, but in general my idea is to have them paired up and rush forward while the rest of the army aims to take objectives the old fashioned way.

My thought on how to use your list would be combat squad 3 of the tac squads place a interogattor in each of the tac squads keeping the plasma cannons at the back deep strike the death wing this gives you 6 squads with a 4/5 invunrable save marching towards objectives soaking the fire whilst your plasma cannons sit back offering you support backed up with a 10 man tac squad in case anything drops behind you advance.
And I would not play against any csm heldrake lists, drop pod lists or jet councils/wave spam cause it won't last long enough to make it worth setting up. Automatically Appended Next Post: Oh and pray your dice are in a good mood...

lol interesting, i hadn't even considered combat squads for some odd reason guess i was too overfocused on the 'cool' factor of running up with terminators with 4+ inv as a gimmick.
Thanks for the tip, I can def see myself applying that

I look at it this way use your 4++ combat squad as a little anvil and then use the termies as a hammer otherwise your opponent will dictate the charges.
