Just sorting out a army list for a Apooclypse game

Is this possible or I am reading the entry wrongly

So you buy the Chapter Master
buy artifcer armour
replace the chainsword with the Burning Blade
replace the bolt pistol with a combi melta
buy a storm shield and then replace it with the Shield Eternal

The storm shield does not appear to have to replace anything or am I missing something in the entry on p163??

You just replace 1 weapon with The Shield Eternal. No need for a prebought Storm Shield.

but you seem to be able to have 3 weapons?

Combi-Melta (bolt Pistol)
Shield Eternal (storm Shield)
Burning Blade (chainsword)

You may trade one weapon for one of the following relics, thus you may only take one relic.

That said, it doesn't matter much to have eternal in apoc. D weapons don't care.

A storm shield isn't a weapon as far as I can see.
It's not listed in the weapon part of the armoury either.

Right good point with only 1 weapon - same as Sororitas I should have noticed that.

So I could go Burning Blade, Combi-Melta and Storm Shield

Many TOs and GW themselves (in their AB) allow 2 for 2 with their relics. Maybe when/if we get an FAQ we'll know for sure. Until then it's circular logic and grammar debates.
