So, I had a great idea for a custom that I want to do. Chaos Space Marines get this handy thingy called a Disc Of Tzeentch which is basically a jetbike, it can be pretty handy on the field and I want to make one that looks like a skateboard or some type of hoverboard. Like Marty McFly's hoverboard. Any ideas on how to pull this off?

Gets along better with animals... Go figure.

Well, to start, instead of a flying base, use a tiny piece of paperclip to elevate it. That way it can be low to the ground while having the impression of hovering

Use a bike base as the board, use flame bits to prop it up, and paint in suitably rad skateboard colors.

The Disc of Tzeentch is essentially a hoverboard. In Rogue Trader/Lost and the Damned days, there were multiple disc variants to choose from, including a "techno disc".

I'd cut and place the legs and feet of a biker to get that wide legged stance on top of the disk. Also, for Marty, the marine ,it's be orange with blue legs and on a pink disc.

I'd suggest using chaos vehicle sirens with the tubes and maybe even horns cut off, attached to the underside of a skateboard shaped piece of plasticard. That gives you your anti-grav gimmicks.

Feel free to carve up some additional plasticard strips to give the blank portions of the board a chaos-y feel.

Seems to me plasticard is the way to go.
