I've recently moved back to my home town and have found a gaming group with a few Warmahordes players.
Unfortunately, I had to sell my Khador, Cygnar and Trollkin armies to pay for the move, but I managed to keep the Retribution Army that I had started when they were first released, but never finished as I moved away not too long after. I have never played them and I'm reluctant to purchase a different army, when I have a lot of stuff I could use.
So far I have:
10 Dawnguard Invictors + UA.
2 Hydra Heavy Myrmidons.
I think I can also dig up Eiryss - Mage Hunter of Ios.
I haven't played since MKI and I'm looking for something that will synergise well with what I already have.
I obviously need a Warcaster, so whatever you guys suggest, I will build my army from there.
Can anyone please help?

How direct do you want me to be? I'm going to assume very direct:
-The hydra is garbage at present. It seems good on paper, but for the cost, it is just often out-classed. The gun is almost good...but not enough on its own. If you have the bits...see if you can hack them apart and make a manticore + phoenix.
-Invictors are a bit corner case and harder to use than their infantry dawnguard cousins, Sentinels. This does not mean they are not usable however.
So, functionally, you're down 2 jacks. If you absolutely must use the Hydras...not sure what to tell you. Either Vyros could work, but would prefer other things. Invictors are at their best with Ravyn or Ossyan, but not bad with the Vyrossi either.
All of that said...I'd not do anything too drastic until february. Bunch of stuff coming which may have an impact on overall utility of certain pieces.

Very direct is good, thanks.
I just wanted to see if the stuff I had was any good and if something could be done with them.
I just want to learn the ropes with what I've got until I get back to grips with the ruleset, then buy an army I really like the look of.
Not fussed if I lose a few games. With money being a little tight ATM, I want to make the most of what I have so far with minimal purchases needed to field a usable force.
Considering Rayvn is good for Invictors, she looks to be a fair WC for the Hydras.
Unfortunately I don't have any of the parts from the Heavy Myrmidon boxes as I was given them as is, due to a FLGS closing down. The owner gave me the entire army as he just wanted rid of the last bits that were in store.

You're also going to need to get the new cards. You can buy the faction deck for about $8, I recommend getting the Warroom app and buying the deck on there. You get more cards that way. Plus its a great listbuilding app, and damage tracking.
I'd pick up the battlebox, an arcanist solo, and the MHSF. After you've relearned the game you can expand from there.

I've got the cards... but thanks for letting me know about the Warroom app.
Money is a little tight to be purchasing a new starter box atm, especially for an army I have very little interest in continuing after I've picked up the game again. I just want to learn the ropes with what I have so I don't have to spend much to get some games in.
We're only playing 15pts to start I believe.
I managed to get a look at the CoC book and when money comes back around, I will be giving them a try.

You can pick up the CoC cards in the Warroom app as well. It's cheaper than buying the book and you can look at all the units.
Heck, if CoC is the army you're honestly interested in, just ask the local group if they mind you using proxies for a while.

Just done exactly that and managed to find a cheap CoC starter at the new FLGS for £25 because the box was damaged and it's missing the cards.
I've also asked the club if they don't mind me using Proxies... I don't think they will mind.
So yeah... Now just got to build my stuff and build a proxy army with what I have.
Jack heavy with an infantry unit. Should be good.

I know that... I played Khador and Trolls in MKI.
I just haven't played MKII at all.

You just have to remember any point reductions. Fortunately the builder doesn't hard cap you to the list total.
