So I am fairly new to guard and was wondering what rules do I use for the valkyrie and vendetta flier. I have to rules from the latest IG codex and I have the rules from Death From the Skies. So which do I use? The codex says they have deep strike, scout, grav chute insertion and are vehicle (fast, skimmers). DFTS says they have Grav Chute Insertion and are Vehicle (flyer, heavy, transport. So what do I use, I am under the impression that since the DFTS say they are fliers that it is more recent than the IG codex and I use those rules. So what do I do? I am trying to find out if I am using the scout rule and what not.

The DFTS entry is simply the culmination of the 6ed rules updates to the valk/vendetta that come from the 6ed BRB, BRB FAQ, and IG FAQ.

So the DFTS is correct, but not because its the latest entry. You'd end up following the same rules if you followed the rulebook and FAQs like you always should
