Hmm, they are a very interesting army.
My questions are: If and when are SoB getting there own codex?
How much is a 2000pt SoB army looking to cost?
And would you recommend them as a army to enjoy?

Sisters have had their own codex for awhile. The most recent update came about a month or so ago, though it is a digital only version on Black Library.
Very hard to say. Buying direct from GW will be very expensive, and your wallet is better served by trading and eBay, but at the same time, it is a more time consuming process to do it that way.
Sisters are not a great beginner army, but to someone who can master them, they are very rewarding and present a very formidable challenge that opponents will always underestimate.

Thanks for the help.
I didn't know they had there own codex: I was under the impression they still ran with the White Dwarf malarky.
Hmm, It looks like a 2000pt army would cost around £300 from gw.
Probably more.

Sisters are a expensive army. No real way around it, even by Ebay, Bartertown, or Dakka swap shop methods.

Hey i know its a big ship but on trademe (new zealands ebay) there is 2 armies for sale.
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/SearchResults.aspx?searchstring=sisters+of+battle&submit_keyword_search=Search&cid=3377&searchregion=100&from=fav&sort_order=expiry_desc
Check them out, do the math etc. might be worthwhile if money is not an issue.

Solid list(to each their own style, this one used is one I like) is
3 dominion squads(4 meltas a piece with Immolator)
3 Exorcist,
2 battle sister squads(2 flamer and immolator per squad)
then Jacobus with a larger blob of sisters(at least 10)
so thats 5 Immolators, 3 exorcist, 12 melta, 4 flamer, and 20ish sisters. leading up to 484EUR(give or take) direct from GW, this is quick math and USD to EUR conversions.

Thankyou kind sir. Thats well within my price range without the discount, but the models are really expensive so will have to sit on that one. Edit: Hmm infact, I was looking at DE also, would a DE army be a similar price?

You'll need more models but they're plastic so cheaper. These too can be found used, and you can probably get pretty good deals on the older (not-so-nice looking) sculpts.
