Well, I posted up my squad Lorenzo as I painted them up. But when I finished off Squad Gideon, they didn't get photographed right away.

So, here they are. I had a bit of a block going into this set, as I wanted to have something subtle show the difference between the two squads, without making them look like they were from a different chapter. In the end I chose to make all of the jewels a different color (Lorenzo's squad has blue jewels, rather than the green ones here).

Also, I updated my Librarian Calistarius. I had originally painted him with metallic metals, and without dark lining. Last thing I did on the set was paint him in Non metallic metals to match the rest of the Space Hulk set.

Thanks. It took a little while to get up the motivation to finish these guys after the first group was done.

Overall, I'm really pleased with how they turned out. Our Space Hulk games are great fun, and the minis match the board pretty well.

Beautiful! I love the poses and detail on the space hulk minis .. if only I could afford to get a set!!

I really like the edge highlighting on those termies, and that subtle white gradient on the libby is fantastic! The black recesses really make it stand out too.

Thanks. The trick with the edges here is that there are quite a few layers in almost no area.

Basically, I wanted to go with a lot of contrast on the armor, but worried that if would turn pink if I mixed it with the lighter color. So it has just a little bit of pink-ish area between the blue-off white and dark magenta.

Stellar work. The NMM is a very nice addition and quite appropriate in the context of the rest of the figures.

Thank you. I rather enjoyed all the NMM. I've got plans to do more minis like this soon.

The paint job is awesome.

My only critique is that the white crests on the helmets make them all look like they're either wearing hats or are old and have grey hair.

Thanks.

Lutnit- On terminators, I tend to feel like the areas need to be broken up in a few more places than the studio thinks. I tend to use a little more metal on a few areas.

Of course, it is up to you to decide if that's working, and I can see there being other opinions (clearly the studio painters don't agree with me, for example).

Most of my paints are P3.

The silver NMM start life as Greatcoat Gray, and sometimes get shaded with a little black (and on the more worn surfaces with Bloodstone). Then highlighted up to Frostbite.

The golds start out as Bloodstone, are shaded with Meridius blue, and highlighted up first towards Cygnus Blue, then towards Frostbite.

I didn't go all the way up to any pure white on these minis.

Do you mean that the Space Hulk set is huge? I found it to be quite a project (especially with how details all of the minis are).

Very rewarding in the end, I'd have to say.
