I have one of those cheapo spray booths sitting on my desk that serves as a handy workspace and storage space when I'm not painting. It has occurred to me that it kind of looks like a hangar or a factory, because it always has a big pile of something in the process of assembly.

Anyway, I thought it might be fun to actually convert that entire interior space so that it looked like a bigass Mechanicum workshop to complete the effect. A diorama I guess. Hoses and cranes and furnaces and whatnot. I've never really done any conversion work or any terrain work before, so I'm looking for general suggestions - bits, terrain pieces, techniques, etc. It measures 16"x16" with a height of 12.5". It definitely still needs to remain functional for it's primary purpose

Check out the biotoxin plant - you can get the same kit from a couple of different companies. If you look on my created threads i have a review of it and the platform kit.

Edit: On a computer now - Link to my review

Yeah, my buddy called it my "command center" the other day and it kind of fits. Computer + painting setup in my living room with my TV off to the side.

Did I mention I'm a bachelor?
