So, looking at all the new hype, I have finally been able to get some better understanding for an army idea that I have been kicking around for a few months. My Tyranid army is nearly complete, and I wanted to field an army to oppose it. So, with that in mind, I have been looking to make a large scale Ordo Xenos army. Now, diving into the fluff, the Inquisition has access to the Black Templars, Grey Knights(Codex), Deathwatch, etc, etc. So, what would you guys recommend I take a look at? Currently been imagining blobs of Crusaders and Templars charging across the field, but that seems unrealistic.

"There is a cancer eating at the Imperium. With each decade it advances deeper, leaving drained, dead worlds in its wake. This horror, this abomination, has thought and purpose that functions on an unimaginable, galactic scale and all we can do is try to stop the swarms of bioengineered monsters it unleashes upon us by instinct. We have given the horror a name to salve our fears; we call it the Tyranid race, but if is aware of us at all it must know us only as Prey."

Well you want a deathwatch themed army? Well that's quite easy, just take Xenos Inquisitors with allied C:SM. Use Pedro to get sternguard as scoring so they can be your bulk troops (special ammo makes them feel deathwatch-y) and your practically done. Add other units to taste.

Well, that's the thing. I want a Inquisition army. If I do this, I plan to have that wonderful disconcerting Inquisitorial I everywhere that people look. I want to use the Inquisition as the primary force, while Deathwatch, Grey Knights, Black Templars, Sisters of Battle, etc, are detachments. I have taken a look at Sternguard, and I did figure that they would easily make for the deathwatch, but I wanted to explore all options.

You could convert the sternguard to have that most magnificent =][= everywhere you look.

I've seen someone who did that and it was awesome. Didn't mind he wiped the floor with me either.

Then it sounds like a henchmen list from GK complete with counts-as Coteaz might be more your deal.

I mixed a lot of DeathWatch into my Black Templars for similar reasons. I also did a unit of DeathWatch Sternguard for my Crimson Fists, lead by a DeathWatch Librarian.

Well, looking at what can be allied together, I am thinking that something along the lines if the following would be proper;

Grey Knights(Inquisition Forces) Main force
Space Marine (Black Templars) Allied Force
Codex Inquisition Allied Force

Use Grey Knight Inquisitor for scoring Warbands(Coteaz?)
Keep said Inquisitor inside of a retinue of Crusaders and heavy Servitors, inside of a ThunderHawk.
Take Grey Knight Assassins for ground support (Eversor warbands?)
Leave the ground support to Templar marines with Land Raider support.
Use Templar Ironclads for Deathwatch, alongside small amounts of Sternguard Deathwatch (Inside Thunderhawks hopefully?)
Take a compliment of additional Inquisitors and retinue to fill out a Conclave with retinues of Crusaders and shooty bodies(Inquisitorial Storm Troopers/Warriors? The guys you shove combi weapons onto.)
