Sups! So... I decided to create an imperial guard army. Naturally I am unwilling to spend money on tanks and went for bits and bodies.... So I'm going to kitbash my army together! But I find that I have 14 models and a heavy Bolter team left over with no idea of what to do.
Now before I give you my list I'll break down the bitz so we can attempt to keep similar models together in squads...

*Ahum*
Fluff: Bunch of survivors join together, PDF from The Dark Angels homeworld who also got wisked away, Imperial guard that survived a Grey Knight's cleansing, Stormtroopers from an Inquisitor that was killed, etc.
Either through sheer strength, Army MULES (mobile weapon platform), or braced weaponry I'm modeling 1 full model on every heavy weapon base- I might have another model there that wont actually have legs but I'll use modeling to hide that fact.

Non-Cadian Models:
16 Wood Elf Glade Guard
24 oop Empire Spearmen
Rider from old Dark Elf Dragon
Valten Exalted of Sigmar

Bitz:
Wood Elf Glade Guard
Imperial Guard Cadian Shock troops
Dark Heresy Chaos Cultists
Vampire Count Skeletons
Dark Elf Warriors
Chaos Spawn
Chaos Space Marines
a few misc Tau Bitz (with 2 ion cannons)

Planned Tactics: When I started making this army I had none- I was making an army of what turned up.... But now- Hit them hard and fast! Precision hits is the name of the game make every shot count! Elites and fast attack get stuck in, Troopers take out what you can before then.

Australia (insert either funny or interesting fact here)

Very nice fluffwise, not too many meltaguns.
I personally recommend getting a 5th squad using those bits.
Since you have so many bits, it won't be hard for you to make an Al'Rahem equivalent. He is great gamewise and is even more fun fluffwise. With the remaining bodies, you could easily make some priests to help in outflanking assaults.

Reminder though, definitely not tournament proof. Will get easily smashed but you will have lots of fun.

1750 points of Imperial Guard
500 points of Biel Tan Mech-dar

250 points of Dark Angels
I cast Magic Missile.

An update...

I managed to get a hand on 6 more lascannons, 6 more missle launchers and 2 Mortars...

It turns out me being cheap means me buying an expensive army bit by bit in 10 dollar increments... And I was thinkign of getting Catachans for arm diversity....

Either way thats 14 models accounted for... and now I got a probelm in army composition...

Take 2 infantry squads from one platoon and turn the models from a special weapon squad to platoon command?

Not sure about Al'Rahem... the thing is in my army the Infantry platoon has maxed heavy weapons that I kinda wanted in position behind the aegis...
But now.... Now...
Outflanking lascannons... 6 outflanking lascannnons O_o and 6 outflanking missle Launchers and 3 outlfanking Heavy Bolters...
Would that work? They'll be exposed....

But then shoot them or the rough Riders... and then theres still 6 missle Launchers, 6 mortars, and 3 Lascannons on the field, plus the Autocannons from the defense line...

Would that work?

That's alot of cover fire O_o

Looks good but for fluff the Dark Angels don't have a homeworld, they kinda blew it up.

They had people on it before it blew up., hell they had pre-bolt pistols and simple power armour. There was a court the primarch joined. All it would take would be the guard siding with The Knights/SM native to the planet and we have an origin.
Heck they even used mounted troops in their ancient background fluff which lends itself to the sheer amount of Calvary.

So we have Knights (and the new Imperial Knights MWAHHAHAHAHAHA!!!!), SpaceMarines (CSM includes renagades), and the PDF of a SpaceMarine Homeworld with recruitement into SpaceMarines (so IG level at least)

Beyond that...

The Knights where pseudo Space Marines 'cause they got upgrades, and the warp to handwave other stuff! Thats right some of these guys where so loyal that they followed The Knights (Now CSM)!

Eh I'll get the fluff down eventually, but at one point they had a planet...
