I can't vote in this poll.

The Griffon is not on it, ergo I cannot vote for it. :(

If you'd add the Griffon Mortar I would be very pleased and would happily vote for it at that point.

Thanks!

The absence of the Medusa is disappointing.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

not really that much dakka for the points. You can get 3 infantry squads or the same price which with rapid fire gets you 60 shots and first row fire second row fire gets you 90 shots. since las guns and punisher shots are both ap - I think you will actually end up killing more guys with 90 las gun shots than 20 punisher shots.

Slightly narrower hull, but pretty much the same size. The wings and tail booms are plastic parts from the Valkyrie kit, so that should tell you the size.

They have quite a few common parts, so about the same, might be a little thinner because of no troop bay (I only own a vulture atm)

Also my favourite is the Hellhound, a tank that projects fire is always cooler than one that doesn't, imo of course

Way to shoot me down... I expected this reaction, though. Keep in mind I play casually, and play Thousand Sons, to put things in perspective. I've also had no experience with IG. The poll asked for favourite IG tank, and I gave my opinion.

And @ Majsharan - did you factor in at least the hull-mounted gun? Add three heavy bolters to the Punisher cannon, and the damage will increase. But, I don't wish to incite an argument with the competitive crowd, so to each their own.

My vote is for the basilisk. Nothing says IG like sustained artillery fire followed by waves of infantry!

Powerful Spawning Champion

Shred City.

The Basilisk is a mobile artillery platform armed with a massive earthshaker cannon. The powerful shells fired by a Basilisk are capable of smashing apart both infantry and vehicles with ease and the unmistakable shriek of its incoming ordnance is rightly feared by the enemies of the Emperor.

This box set contains one multi-part plastic Imperial Guard Basilisk. This 117-piece set includes a range of assembly options that allow you to customise your miniature.

Availability: Usually ships within 24 hours.

The community is a great place to come for tactics advice, and there is a lot of very sound opinions and idea out there, but at the end of the day, play the game how you want to... Don't worry about the hordes of Dakka descending on your gaming club to arrest you for taking one heldrake or not using a screamerstar. Knowing the standard opinion (and that's all it is) on what is good/bad and conforming to that opinion religiously are two entirely separate things.

Eradicator in fluff, because urban warfighting nuke guns are awesome, and it would be the same on the table top if it was one AP lower, because Hell, it'd be a Heldrake with longer range, a bigger template, wheels and AV 14 on the front
