I was wondering if I could use servo skulls for alpha striking with orbital bombardment. I need to have the first turn, so I would use Coteaz and ML1 inq for 3 skulls and prescience. This is more "for fun" list than a comp one. How could it be improved? I do not have Codex Inq, so could not verify costs.
IH/WS HQ
255 CM with bike, AA, TH, Shield Eternal
245 CM with bike, AA, Burning Blade, Storm Shield
Troops
2 x 200 5 bikes, 2x grav, combi grav, multi melta attack bike
2 x 145 5 bikes, 2x grav, combi grav
Heavy
2 x 100 TFC
Fast
2 x 125 Stormtalon with Skyhammer
Inq
100? Coteaz
64? Inq with ML1 and 3 skulls
This leaves me with less than 50 points. Any thoughts/opinions?

Where are you going to stick your inquisitors?
On foot behind your bikes? Sitting with your TFCs?
Those just don't seem like very good uses for them.

Hiding in the backfield, I have some points for troops. They should hold the home objective and die valiantly. I don't expect them to survive long

It looks to be lacking a bit of that 'alpha strike' oomph since your list doesn't have Khan in it.(Assuming white scars, ofc).
Two chapter masters, yeesh. While I'm sure they'll murder anything they come across, 500 points for two models is a bit much imo. I'd rather just play one and get another bike squad, or a tactical squad to give those inquisitors something to hang out with...
Unless you are gonna add in some henchmen then those inquisitors are okay. Otherwise they seem kind of out of place in this list.

I think your biggest problem with this list will be scoring. Two troops (plus one possible) in 1850 points is a recipe for defeat. In your list the biker troops are also your fighting force. I just don't think they're going to last long, unfortunately.

Actually there are four troops, five with henchmen. Like I wrote, it's a fun list. I'll try to get the first turn and hit twice with orbitals. Usually they scatter off target, maybe those skulls help.
Then I turbo CM+units closer to the enemy for 2nd turn charges with the CM's. Two TFC's try to thin out the enemy troops with re-rollable scatter.
As for securing objectives high from the ground? I don't do that, I will just try to deny them from my opponent and go for secondaries.
I ought to have fun.. I am thinking that I should choose White Scars as I try to go first. If that fails...

Ahh, I see it now, 4 troops. That being the case I think you are good to go, and it does look like a fun list to play.

You can only take one HQ with an allied force...
So just stick with coteaz, also drop 1 Cm (not the one with shield of i dont die), also imo for the cm with shield give him teeth of terra? It is meq ownage

I am not sure why Dakka so decided, my local meta thinks differently
The BB+ SS master goes after troops while the TH+SE goes after big baddies.

Coteaz and your other inquisitor are kill point bait at best, and wasted points at worst.
Adding inquisitors to armies is a great idea. I think it can bring a lot of extra firepower and advantages -- but you can't just slap em down on the table and say "DONE!" You need to have a plan for them.

Thanks for the suggestions but I am perfectly happy to sacrifice my inq allies (~200 points) for a couple of reasons:
1) I want Coteaz just for better chance to have 1st turn
2) Inq with skulls is there for the skulls and prescience
3) It forces my opppnent to try to take them out
I'd like to think my 2 Stormtalons and 2 TFCs will be effective. Four bike units with 2 tough Chapter Masters should give a pause to my opponent, he most likely cannot take out the CMs in 1 round of shooting and then they will be in melee with their units.
If I am unable to get the first turn then my skulls were wasted and I might have a little less fun
