Just dug out this unopened beauty from my painting backlog.




I had bought them about two years ago for £13.50 at Dark Sphere. A full 10 man Dire Avenger squad for £13.50. Can you believe it? Of course, that would be 25% off GW pricing, so I'm guessing GW charged £18 for it.




Now I head on over the GW and what do I see? The Dire Avenger box costs £20.50. And what do you get? FIVE MEN! Am I missing something here or is this a major league ripoff? The new Space Marine Sternguard kit I can somewhat understand, as you get a gakload of equipment, but exactly what is inside the new Dire Avenger box that warrants for such a hike in price per model?

one of my local shops has a 10 man box still as when the GW rep came to see them it was out the back so the rep didnt take it back, the guys at the store didnt even know about the re-release of the 5 man box set. My friend collects eldar im tempted to buy them for him as they are on sale for £15

I'd snap it up.
